Le Zinc (altiporthotel.fr)
Opened a couple of years ago in the fabulously positioned four-star Altiport Hotel, on the Lapin Piste. Contemportary style and gourmet, though cheaper omelette or pasta dishes are also available.

Cookie’s Club (telebar-hotel.com)
Exposed beams, stone walls and smart rattan chairs creates a traditional, homely atmosphere in this wonderfully located hotel-restaurant. At 1650 metres, views are superb at the Adray Télébar, and of its two restaurants, Cookies Club is the best value. Everything is predictably traditional about this well-positioned no-nonsense restaurant at Cherferie, the top of the Tougnete lift, but it’s a formula that pulls in the crowds and tables get very busy. Straightforward choice of food (steak frites, charcuterie, omelettes, tartiflette) all presented well by friendly staff. Prices from €20 to €30.

Le Coeur de Cristal
Another popular spot for lunch on the slopes is Le Coeur de Cristal on the Rhodos piste. This traditional chalet style building has a modern interior with two separate dining areas, both of which have open fires.
